The zeolite has particular chemical composition and X-ray diffraction lines. This catalyst has higher activity, selectivity and stability in alkylation process than that of the prior art. With this catalyst the process for preparing ethyl benzene by alkylation of benzene with ethylene has higher ethylene conversion and ethyl benzene selectivity. |
